Luna Rossa on "three legs", the preferred mode for maximum speed of up to 40 kn (75 km/h), with the leeward wing and both rudders with their smaller wings in the water. Speed with the hull in the water is 20 kn and acceleration back to 40 kn is reached within 10 seconds!
