Long Wharf, old harbor. One of the reasons you don't find that many old cafes and restaurants near the waterfront is the late begun harbor water cleaning project. Nobody who did not have to, went there, as it wasn't until 1980 when the decision was made to stop the whole city's raw sewer discharge into the harbor bay.
